Belu's new contract, if any, only late November
The new contract for Octavian
Belu can be concluded only late November,
after the new President of Romanian Olympic Committee will
be elected (and some other new board members replaced, too-due
to their retire or other reasons).
The new President of R.O.C. is supposed to be the head of
National Sport Agency. He seems to support Octavian
Belu but also he is backed by actual
President of R.O.C., (Mr. Tiriac) which seems to like a change
at Deva and a new coach being installed. He had publicly expressed
this , making also some referring to "some old persons which
still runs federations and have to retire, their time have
passed". This can be a direct point to Gymnastic Federation
President, Mr.Vieru
(72 years), which is referred even by the official profile
of IGF like this: "Today, Nicolae VIERU is still at
the lead of the Federation". Maybe this is a surprise even
for them?
In the meantime, Octavian
Belu have his main job contract, being
an employee of Romanian Gymnastics Federation. The special
contract for training the Olympic Team was a second one, signed
with Romanian Olympic Committee and just ended after Olympics.
It seems that until the end of November a lot of things may
change, November being also a month of political elections
in Romania, this can bring a long-awaited change in the country
or another losing years for country development.

Belu, the team and Mrs Mariana
Bitang will spend this week at
five stars Rex hotel in Mamaia resort, on the Black sea coast.
The hotel is owned by a member of a Romanian billionaire family,
Paunescu family which own also Lido and Intercontinental hotels
in Bucharest (where girls have also spend a week after winning
Europeans)..
The girls enjoy the beach and the hotel pool 101% and don't
think much about work, but in the afternoon they all (including
Octavian
Belu and Mariana
Bitang) use the hotel gymnastics
facility, with all aerobics-apparatus.
In the evening, girls have to take some easy mobility exercises,
using their towels instead of usual mattress. Yesterday, after
a TV interview , the (in-for some of you, like our forum has
revealed) famous TVR reporter Alina Alexoi was plunged away
by the (still happy girls) from the team (Ponor being the
"captain"). For all those who don't like her comments (as
we saw on our forum), a nice detail: Alina have had her new
and expensive mobile phone inside her pocket. Amen! (by
the way, if you ever drop one mobile phone into the water,
remove the battery immediately, let it dry-but not in direct
sun and you may have some chances.Of course, we didn't tell
her this).
Girls said to Alina: "this is for bothering us so much during
Olympics with all those interviews" (is was like a joke, not
like a complain, Alina is very close to girls). The girls
seems to enjoy at highest level their victory and try to be
happy as much as possible, during these only few days of holyday.
The team have to return in few days at Bucharest, (bad wheather
will come anyway, ruining any holiday on seaside) to be congratulated
by President Iliescu at his residency and to receive the long-expected
payments (and NO, is not true what you may have read on that
AP story on last week reception, they didn't get the money
then, only some kind of Letters of Recognition for what amounts
they will get...later).
...At the end, the best part.of yesterday story, nearby Rex
hotel pool. After getting dried (still looking like a pickle,
a dried one but still...), Alina took an interview with Octavian
Belu.
Girls seems to have a kind of "permit to kill-alike" these
days (meaning they can do anything and Octavian
Belu admit everything from them).
During the serious discussion between Alina and Belu, a $1
000 000 moment came: from Octavian
Belu's back, Ponor has approached and
splash a whole (10 gallons) bucket with water was splashed
directly into Octavian
Belu's head (he was wearing t-shirt
and short sleeves). Octavian
Belu took well the splashing, smiling
and continuing his interview after few second by saying in
front of camera: "see, I don't say anything to them, I don't
mind, too" referring probably to Alina almost hearth-attack
attitude when see her new, expensive mobile phone not working
after the "pool session". Yeah, but Octavian
Belu didn't have his phone inside his
pocket, so is not the same. But nice to see, too.
We are used with girls winnig Olympics Gold Medals, but with
Belu being under such a "happy moments"- I never thought will
live to see...and I thought I saw everything. Never say never.To
those idiots which still used (being gealus, stupids or both)
the "rombots" term for our girls: you, idiots, I
saw that girls still "function"about the pool session,
so maybe they are not rombots or maybe they are all "waterproof?"
I can hardly wait for Carly Peterson & company trying to
splash Bela Karolyi and Martha at their ranch, maybe into
pigs water tank?...If there is (any) mud involved, I will
personally pay $25000 for the exclusive picture.The giant
poster will fit nice into our new offices.
