[June 8] Romanian
gymnastics team, honored by the city of Athens
 Romanian
gymnastics team members-Catalina Ponor, Oana Ban, Silvia Stroescu,
Alexandra Eremia, Monica Rosu and Daniela Sofronie will be
among the Athens Gold Medalists to receive today the "Honorable
Citizen of Athens" titles.
 The
status of "Honorable Citizen of Athens" will not
bring any other material benefits (as it can bring in Romania-tax
deductions, small land parcels and/or apartments, cash- for
same title).

During an official ceremony on June
8, at the Greek Embassy in Bucharest, the members
of the Athens Romanian gymnastics Team (along with the other
Romanian Gold medalists from 2004 Olympics) will receive the
Titles.
