[March 30] Catalina
Ponor, *first* boyfriend and love story
 Our
"cover
girl" Catalina Ponor" makes- again! the 1st
page, this time with her first (known by those amateur journalists,
ha-ha!) boyfriend & her 1st (*official*) love story.
Isn't she a beauty or what?...The "VIP" cover
of the today's Bucharest edition, with Cata&her boyfriend
photos covering first half page of the magazine.
The Bucharest weekley tabloid "VIP"** (see bottom
of page) printed in the today edition a story about Catalina
Ponor and her first boyfriend (first in their minds, but
we shall not spoil their pleasure and will...reset our "counter"...This
time only, for few more days).
A short resume of the story was printed by the sport tabloid
"Prosport", too, in their today edition:
"Ponor and Cosmin Popescu, a member of the junior gymnastics
team had been seen together in Azuga (a mountain resort).
At 17 and ˝ Catalina, aside from being famous, is a beautiful
adolescent. At her age it is normal to experience one’s first
romantic feelings like a first kiss, and walks in the park."
"Both Catalina and Cosmin are professional athletes and
both are gymnasts. Popescu is 19 and while still being a junior
is being remarked by his coach, Dan Grecu, as being an athlete
with a lot of promise. The relationship between the two took
flight but was soon discovered. Because he didn’t want the
press to print false stories about them Cosmin acknowledged
their relationship to VIP. “Yes, we were together but I don’t
want to say anything more about these things” said Cosmin
who spent his Christmas alongside Catalina and her family
at Azuga. Although both athletes maintain that their relationship
was in the past their teammates speak to the contrary. For
them gymnastics remains their priority but they still make
time to talk to each other often."
Among gymnasts, Andreea Raducan's first boyfriend (and still
known as her boyfriend , already? "former"according
to a yesterday journal***) was the brother of a gymnasts;
Oana Petrovschi first boyfriend was an athlete, too (they
broke up two weeks ago); Silvia Stroescu boyfriend is an athlete,
also. Seems like being so close guarded in the past inside
Deva walls and having few opportunities to meet/know boys
of their ages, former gymnasts have their love stories close
to their training gym hall.
**(The "VIP"tabloid is *very* close to B&B,
so the -already famous herself-Catalina's mother
will know where this come from...you know what I mean)
