[March 25] Matei Stanei, former Catalina coach (dare to) speak. Again

Matei Stanei, former Catalina coach (and also the main coach at national team for former champion Aurelia Dobre), spoke again about the real situation, today, at the General meeting of the RGF.

During the press interviews after the RGF meeting, Stanei told to the press that "I didn't afford to stop the training of my Club girls for more than 3...5 days at maximum [contrary to the national team which didn't have proper training since the Athens return-our note]. I have accused Bitang of many things, among those are her language used with the girls [verbal abuses-our note] and many other things which I don't want to remember."

Belu was given the meeting hall for his press conference, Matei Stanei spoke to the press mainly in the street, at the building exit.
Sooner or later, things will reverse, be sure of this...Matei Stanei is now the "Nelson Mandela" or "Malcolm X" of Romanian Gymnastics, because of his courage to confront " The Gods" of Romanian Gymnastics-as he labeled B&B's. Every fire starts with a small spark, every Revolution start with a leader speaking to the (afraid until then) people, every Spring came after first cracks on ice (Oana Petrovschi as gymnast, followed by Matei Stanei as a coach, now).

If so many peoples seems to dislike them (B&B's), "they are no longer representative",write today "Ziarul" from Bucharest. Adrian Stoica, RGF General Secretary: "Whith each day passing, more people argues about you (B&B's), this mean you are no longer representative. And Matei Stanei (former Catalina Ponor coach) , let me tell you, is not looking for scandal, don't lie, don't want troubles. He have a honest position (spinal column)!" -for previous story here

Matei Stanei -"The Coach of The Year"

# For his courage in breaking the "Omerta Law" installed at RGF more than 25 years ago, among all local Club coaches (who don't dare to express in public their real opinions, most of them being against B&B);
# for his determination to improve the situation by removing "the Evil Force" in Romanian gymnastics- considered by him and many others, being Bitang which have a bad influence over Belu and girls, due to her verbal abuses on them and the total control over Belu decisions, including previous cases (like Petrovschi) of imposing girls to train even if their condition didn't allow;
# for his courage to expose (during the RGF meeting today and previous press conference) the real problems of Romanian Gymnastics National Team and their source-B&B and their personal interests;
...For all these, Mr.Matei Stanei is named by the
romanian-gymnastics.com, as "The Coach of the Year".
