Petrovschi trial, close to an end
Oana Petrovschi have asked the Court to close her suit against
B&B+RGF and Mircea Sandu. Las week the ARDAF company made
a press conference with Oana's lawyer to announce a deal between
them and Oana Petrovschi, in exchange of her dropping the
suit. The exact amount of settlement remain confidential,
press reports spoke about a $70 000 ...$140 000 deal (including
a Bucharest apartment, car and a monthly cash payment; also
the ARDAF promise to sustain any future medical costs involved).
The Court remain to take a decision on this
matter (expected to be heard next days). The RGF Lawyer, which
has arrived later, have announced that he wanted to see this
suit being judged by the Court. It seems, like usual, that
B&B and RGF lawyers have different positions. This lawyer
( a 70 years old alike, same generation as RGF President Vieru)
is the one which press have reported as he initially instructed
Belu, last autumn, at the begining of this trial, to lie about
the 30% tax and pretend he didn't received. Belu didn't took
this (bad) advice to lie in front of Judge and instead he
took his own lawyers.
