[March 28] Romanian
gymnastics team, back at training
TVR1 aired a news about girls going back to
training and coming to the gym hall "15 minutes earlier"
to start their first training session with Belu. When he have
entered, they were already making their warming, and this
was underlined by the TV reporter-we can believe this, girls
being anxious to see Belu at training, after they were let
two months with Bitang...anything else is much better.Or human.
Belu was interviewed outside the gym hall, saying that girls
which have the medical agreements will start training, the
other will work for their shape first. He said that RGF will
buy some fitness equipment, to help girls loose weight. It
seems that modern techniques will be used, after so many years
when B&B used the 70's methods (they were under heavy
criticism by Matei Stanei, former Ponor coach, for this, too....among
many other things).
To help the girls enjoy more the fitness program,
maybe Belu can bring for them one of those nice young fitness
instructors from Bucharest fitness Clubs...ha-ha!
The girls were filmed on their training at
floor, all of them (never happened before) wearing their paints
over costumes, to avoid any close ups on those 5...7Kilos
-depending on who speak about, but the real ones are closest
to the higher marks, due to girls abilities to use one of
their three different methods to cheat at weight-in(the "pushing
with the right feet", the "folded piece of paper
inserted in the proper place" and the "rapid changing
of girls" on the balance). All the girls were looking
serious (except a short smile from Floarea) , but Mona Rosu
was very upset (maybe because normally she have had to rest,
due to Catholic Easter? and she broke the rules because of
the team rules; it have happened before).
Now that ROC have suggested they are ready
to help more financially the Romanian Gymnastics team, maybe
it's the best moment to ask them pay, among other things,
for those special (IMUNOPRO) blood tests, which we have suggested
since last October. Available now in Romania, too, these tests
help anybody knowing in details (dozens detailed pages), the
proper alimentation which may be used -or not!-for each individual.
It's Euro 400 (like $500) in Romania, but it's the most comprehensive
available and help the doctor make very documented suggestions
regarding the recommended food for weighting loss programs.
Of course, a doctor (a real one) and a nutritionist may help
the team, but since 2000 no doctor was ready to accept doing
whatever B&B impose/ask for (and risking the medicine
license being taken, if the doctor close the eyes at what
they are doing/-or not), so we don't have much hopes for this
(until they are gone).
We would suggest to RGF and ROC to make girls
an offer like this: a $1000 bonus, for each kilos lost before
Worlds; until then, half of the girls montlhy payment from
ROC (is not much, like $200 a month or so) to be kept on hold-if
they don't succced return to the proper wheight, those retained
money can be used better, to give bonuses to other girls,
from the next team.
Last week, Belu have already suggested in a newspaper that
some of the doctors estimated out-of-traing times for some
girls may be shortened. Some things never change, and B&B
are ready to push again the girls...but maybe next time there
is no ARDAF to pay for them or a neo communist obeying district
attorney to close his eyes to evidences.
By the way, maybe the fitness equipment can be bought by Belu
himself, since he had signed an official statement saying
he have used the 30% imposed "gift tax"to buy tension
equipment (like 30 ones for each girl, every year, a newspapers
laugh about this) or swaddling. Well, now here is a chance
for him to use-for real-those money for girls benefit: pay
them the equipment and a good nutritionist advice's.
Add
to the list some safety equipment for UB exercise learning,
kind of each West club have-but no one in Romania. One of
the main reasons girls don't take much risks at UB, don't
like to work at this apparatus is (like in Ponor case) one
of their previous small (but painful) accident's at UB. Normally,
they should have-some of the girls would benefit from using,
some of them don't, depends on personal preferences-special
devices which provide them greater safety, when learning at
UB, (a strings system, attached to the ceiling or something,
like the safety at circus; the other ones-see right-are attached
to the UB) . AT UB there is no coach closer to your head,
who can help you avoiding the trouble. Even at National Team,
such things simply don't exist. Belu should bought some, few
years ago, instead paying for Bitang's furs or whatever he
was doing with those money.Definilety, he is a "taken"guy:
take as much, as long...
