[March 29] Romanian
journalists and a US citizen, kidnapped in Iraq
Last night in Baghdad, two journalists and a crew member-from
Romanian Prima
TV station and one journalist from "Romania
Libera" newspaper were kidnapped in Iraq. Also their
local guide, having also US citizen, was supposedly kidnapped,
too.
The Prima
TV station have now a US majority stock holder-SBS Broadcasting
having 86% , after the biggest investment in East European
media, with a cash payment of 33.3 millions Euros (like $45
millions) just made few weeks ago.
Prima
TV is a Romanian TV station (recently being "released"
from the neo-communist influence of the former owners) which
have aired many gymnastics-related programs, like:
Silvia
Stroescu in the "Monica (Charity) Show"
Monica Zahiu selling her medals
Andreea
Raducan "working" in a farm-reality show
Simona
Amanar, in a TV show at Prima TV
"Romania
Libera" is a Bucharest independent newspaper, with
many gymnastics news.
