[ May 18] Oana
Petrovschi has passed her driving license exam
Oana Petrovschi has passed her driving test today (first time
when she try, which is good for a girl busy with school, too)
and now she is a licensed driver (a very beautiful one, says
both her former driving school colleagues and...those which
have seen her at final tests).
After Oana Ban (which already have the driving permit) and
Silvia Stroescu (which have the exam for permit at the end
of this month), Oana Petrovschi is
the third former Romanian gymnastics Olympic team member which
"get motorized". Drive safe, girls!
Her Deva neighbors were able to see recently
a nice Toyota parked nearby her (shared with other two girls)
apartment. Due to Romanian bureaucracy, her driving permit
will reach her in one-two weeks, helping her making the daily
20 miles (30 km) trip to Hunedoara, for the swiming therapy
The distance is not big, but due to the bad conditions in
the local buses lines, she get flu very often this spring
(swimming pool have warm water and making the one hour cold
bus travel after this doesn't help much).
Another good news (and maybe God sign?) was
that during the recent floods in Western Romania, the waters
have stopped to go up right on her mother corner (located
on a small hill). Few more hours of rain or bad luck, and
her house could be ruined like the other 1300 in the area
(the largest floods in Romania since 1970). Lucky girl having
a lucky year?
