The
Romanian Gymnastics Team for European Championships 2005
[May 11] RGF will decide today about the Romanian gymnastics
team for Euros.On the list to be approved are Catalina Ponor,
Monica Rosu (?-how she could get back in shape, with no medical
clearance for training is a mystery), Daniela Sofronie(?)
and Floarea Leonida.
Floarea Leonida have already passed from the glory of Ploiesti
(where some overscore was involved) to the bad days in Italy,
where she has competed for a local club. The Euros can be
a chance for her (one of the few during this year).
It looks like B&B have had used (again) some magic tricks
to have back in shape girls which weren't allowed even to
train by the INMS (the National Sport Medical Institute).
For our US visitors who will travel to Euros: heavily rains
and floods in region (nearby West Romania is flooded since
mid April and no hopes for improvement until end of this month).
