& Bitang says they will not return (it's a promise?...)
Resting in Milano (where B&B are taking
their long wait honeymoon* holiday) , Bitang said for
RealitateaTV
station that "she will never return at the Olympic team."
Shall we consider this as a promise? Amen!
Bitang also said (during the phone interview for RealitateaTV)
that she doesn't know how did Gazeta (today article) jumped
to the conclusion that B&B want to return at team. We
may think about their past "will not come back"
, or the January "final" resign.
Most important, past two weeks the Romanian journal "Gardianul"
have printed many (k-i-a type) articles on B&B, pushing
ROC to finally said that they want them back, even by offering
Belu a position in ROC. After so many discussions over the
age fraud program and B&B abuses over the girls, maybe
ROC will think twice to avoid embarrassment.
Belu said for "Gardianul"
(Nov 26) "We don't have a final decision yet, soforth
we are willing to negotiate with anybody. Anything is possible,
even to return in Romanian gymnastics, if they want us."
Case closed: they do hope for a return.

Mariana Bitang: «Decizia nu am luat-o noi, au luat-o ei.
Nu mai avem loc in sistemul actual. Ii urez succes domnului
Stoica la conducerea FR de Gimnastica!».
Nicolae Vieru: «Belu nu a mai vrut sa continue, pentru ca
se credea mai mare decat sistemul in care lucra. Ii urez succes
acolo unde va merge!»
Octavian Morariu: "Ma voi implica in mentinerea
lui Belu si Bitang in Romania".

"Dupa incheierea Campionatelor Mondiale, vom avea
alte discutii cu ei pentru a vedea cum putem face sa-i pastram
in tara. Vom negocia ca Belu si Bitang sa se reintoarca la
lotul national feminin de gimnastica pentru ca, din punctul
de vedere al COSR, sunt cei mai in masura sa pregateasca noua
generatie de sportive care vor reprezenta Romania la JO de
la Beijing, din 2008", ne-a declarat, ieri, secretarul
general al forului olimpic, Ioan Dobrescu.
Belu: «Este posibil orice!» Contactat telefonic la Milano,
acolo unde se afla in concediu, Octavian Belu a lasat sa se
inteleaga ca este dispus dialogului. Acesta nu a confirmat,
dar nici nu a infirmat o posibila revenire in gimnastica romaneasca.
"Sunt multe lucruri de pus la punct pentru a da un raspuns
in acest moment. Oricum, daca suntem, inca, doriti in sportul
romanesc, atunci este un lucru bun. Suntem dispusi sa dialogam
cu oricine, pentru ca nu
am luat nici o decizie definitiva. Este posibil orice,
inclusiv sa revenim in gimnastica romaneasca, daca vom fi
doriti", a confirmat Octavian Belu.
