gymnastics team left for Worlds
TVR1 channel aired a news about the Romanian gymnastics team
which left today for Worlds. Girls didn't made any statements,
Catalina Ponor looks worried but still in good shape. Matei
Stanei, her coach, said he think they can win at least one
medal (beam), but have hopes for the floor, too-where the
new exercise of Catalina will be a "surprise". I
can only hope to be a good one, this new exercise which was
never seen during the tests back home.
The boys from men's team didn't show any emotions, Urzica
says that his girlfriend will register him for RGF Presidency
elections. To be honest, he could ask "the man with mustache"(Belu)
, who is behind this, to do the registration for him. The
worst thing which can happen (but it will not) would be to
have a B&B's *puppet* (like Urzica or Olaru) heading the
RGF. Stoica is the only one with enough experience and knowledge
and we can already consider him as the new RGF President,
due to the support of local clubs where most of the coaches
(left) are from his generation, the ones which had suffered
mostly from B&B "domination" and they don't
want a B&B's *puppet* to lead them.
