[October 11] Monica
Rosu injured.... and out from Nationals
Monica
Rosu has twisted her left leg and will not be able to
participate at the National Championships at the end of the
week, the Romanian State TVR1 has reported this evening.
This news came just after a tabloid wrote today that Catalina
Ponor have problems, too- with an injury and will not
be able to do her floor exercise, only the beam. The RGF technical
director of women's team, Anca Grigoras have said like "
I don't believe in this *injury*, it's a simple ankle inflammation
used as excuse she have to show us her floor exercise."
It may be true, but we still remember that same people have
let Marinescu (and later Petrovschi) to train until a step
close to break theirs spinal, so the RGF officials are not
the ones to trust in their medical "opinions".
It may be a happy weekend for B&B, which may enjoy their
"out of scene" status, seeing that in their absence
the girls have problems in passing the nationals tests. Let's
not forget how this started-with B&B's lack of interest
on the team training's and discipline, with Bucharest "camping"
(for B&B to enjoy the Bucharest high life) instead of
Deva training and so on.
The club hard working coaches can't do miracles in few weeks,
repairing what other have broken in long months, but we still
have hopes for girls to get back in shape for Worlds.
"Tare!" (go girls!) Catalina, Monica, Floarea, Alexandra!
