[Sept 2] Oana Ban doll
 Oana
Ban has her own doll, a beautiful figurine portraying
the little gymnast competing at Anaheim Worlds, back in 2003.
The limited edition doll will be available starting early
December.
Oana
Ban, member of the Golden Team- the Romanian gymnastics
team in Athens, is the first Romanian gymnast to have her
own doll. Two years ago, another former Romanian gymnast has
tried to have her own, but the project failed during the negotiations
with a Romanian factory.
Oana's doll was made in a China doll factory
by a US company and the distribution is expected to start
during the Christmas season, through Internet and some retailers,
staring in US and later in the rest of the world. Few lucky
Romanian gymnastics fans will get for free few dolls from
the early productions stages. The "No 1" produced
doll will be on auction sale for charity purposes; also a
portion of each sale will be dedicated to charity projects
directed by Oana herself.
Earlier today , Oana
Ban and her representatives handed the very first pre-production
dolls to the Oana's first coach in Cluj, to the B&B's
in Bucharest and to the Municipal council and the Mayor of
her hometown (Cluj). Other dolls will reach, during the next
days, all the members of the Golden Team in Athens and Oana's
former roomate in Deva, Oana Petrovschi.
 The
dolls itself contain no less than three different innovations,
starting with the doll construction (being special made to
have a high resistance, despite the difficult design) and
a special designed box which may allow a safe shipping around
the world to the Romanian gymnastics fans.

The dolls can be personalized with Oana's autograph or/and
a personal dedication.

Moceanu two years ago, Oana
Ban is the second gymnast in the world to have a bobblehead
doll and the first Romanian gymnast to have a doll and a complete
line of (more than 200) products being available to her worldwide
fans.
