[Dec 5] Romania's ANS President has (finally!) quit his position
  The National Sport Agency-ANS- President has (finally!) quit his position; not because of a late spark of honor, but  due to some political changes in Romanian politics (his party - insignificant one- has retired from Government).    Former ANS President retirement was unanimously (and is a very rare occasion to see such a thing!) seen by the Romanian press as a person who did nothing for the sport, but a lot for himself: he made so many travels abroad (of no help for sport) that he should be rewarded by the travel agencies with a prize or something. He deserve a prize" from us,too...
  For Romanian gymnastics, the moron did two "memorable" things: he gave alcohol (champagne, the standard version and not the alcohol-free version, the champagne for children, widely available in Romania) to the gymnastics team at Women's Day celebration, in 2005. Almost all girls were under minimum age (18) to be given alcohol and all of them were top athletes in training*!
 At Romanian gymnastics (women) team return from World Gymnastics Championships, the ANS President (or any of his lazy, incompetent employees) didn't welcomed the girls; past two years he use to welcome at airport any Romanian team or athlete returning from medals - a political opportunist's mania to be in all medalists arrival published photos .    This was his biggest (and last) bad gesture/attitude, the one which deserve our Special Prize; we still debate over the name on it, Moron/Pig/Donkey of the Year?...But we don't want to offend any pig or donkey.

*gymnastics is one of the most dangerous sports, if you are young, under diet and drink alcohol before training you can...broke your neck!
