[Dec 17] Postcard
from Romanian Gymnastics Team visiting a Monastery
Romanian Gymnastics Team
has visited "Simbata de Jos" Monastery, during their
Mountain training camp at "Paraul Rece" Mountain
resort.
Romania has an Orthodox majority (like 90%)
population and a long historical tradition of building (and
visiting, in modern ages) beautifully build Monasteries. These
are not just religion-related buildings, they have also historical
museums with very old books, (first books ever to be printed
were produced in such places) traditional objects and clothes,
a visit to such a place being good for children (school) education,
also.
Romanian gymnastics Team also visited a
trout farm. (video

Alina
Stanculescu: "We do have moments when it's
very difficult for us but when we say our prayers we pass
through these difficult moments and we know that God is helping
us."
Alexandra
Ghita: "God always helped me
when I said my prayers to Him.I Know that 'somebody' [God]
is helping me"
Puia Valer, team coreographer:
"In Gymnastics, as in religion, there is no place
for superficialiy."
