Izbasa named "Athlete of the Year" by the RGF

Izbasa was named "The Athlete of the Year"
by the Romanian Gymnastics Federation (RGF). The RGF general
Secretary Mircea Apolzan told to the media that "Sandra's
nomination was made based purely on results from 2006 competitions."
He added that "there will be no financial rewards
for this nomination."
At aerobics gymnastics, Valentin Mavrodineanu
was named Best Gymnast.
