Izbasa, Best Athlete of Steaua Club
Sandra
Izbasa, the leader of Romanian gymnastics team, was
recognized as the Best 2006 Athlete of Steaua Club. During
a ceremony in Bucharest last evening, she received her title
from the Romanian Defense Ministry (Steaua club is owned by
Defense Dep.)
"My first goal for 2007
is to get medals at FX, BB and AA at European Championships;
I could have done better on Worlds this year if I haven't
had all those [medical] problems."
