Belu was installed as ANS President
Former Romanian Gymnastics main coach Octavian
Belu has started today to work in his new job as ANS (Romanian
Sport Agency) President. The Government just provided
the largest budget in Romania's history for the sport -but
still far from providing enough funds, because of the weak
economy and resources.
Belu's future success will depends mainly
from his strength in applying what he did in gymnastics: be
the "Iron Man", a strong leader, having his own
talented team which he can trust 101% (the old, bored bureaucrats
from that institution need to be send home...and replaced
with young, open minded talents or he may fail because of
them). Most important: to put everybody at hard work, up to
their limits; this time Belu is facing strong bureaucrats,
not children (easier to be ruled). He may learn from Donald
Trump -2nd season of "Apprentice" being aired now
in Romania- and say (a lot) during next months: "You
are Fired". Hard to do? Will see
