In the years since her retirement Filip transferred to sports
aerobics, a sport that's proved popular among former women's
artistic gymnasts in Romania. As a sports aerobics competitor,
Filip earned a spot to the 1999 European Championships.
On the heels of her involvement in sports aerobics, Filip
performed for Aeros, an Italian performance art troupe. In
her later years with the troupe she was known as Lacramiora
Moldovan, suggesting perhaps a union with fellow performer
Cristian Moldovan. Indeed, the two performed a duet together
in Aeros.
Meanwhile, Filip also earned a certificate from the National
School of Trainers in Bucharest, voicing a desire to coach
artistic gymnasts to Olympic gold. Apparently she's taking
note; She can often be seen in the spectator stands at Romanian
competitions!
