After retiring from gymnastics Liliana
joined the circus. She performed on the flying trapeze. In
1991 she met her future husband, Octavian-Gabriel Dirtu (whom
has been working in the circus since he was a small child).
In 1993 Liliana and Octavian left that circus and started
their own circus act. They travel all over the world, going
to countries in the Middle East and all over Europe.
The couple wed on August 18, 1996 at the Romanian Embassy
in Abu Dhabi (in the Middle East).
The two were working in Kuwait for an Italian circus and are
heading off to England from May thru September 2000.
