Anca Grigoras comeback,
spectacular return of Nadia's teammate
Anca Grigoras, former Nadia Comaneci teammate have confirmed
the rumors about her comeback. "With all these weight
problems of the girls from the National team, I have decided
that my example will help them get back in shape."-said
Anca Grigoras.
At the age of 34 but with the silhouette of a 16 years girl
(a girl on a diet one!), Anca Grigoras may consider that her
own example of healthy diet may be a positive thing for the
team in the most difficult moments after Athens.
Grigoras was rated at the third in the team back then (after
Nadia and Teodora Ungureanu), but insiders told us that she
could have better chances if she have had back then the Nadia's
child look-alike, which was over-used by the Romanians during
those years.
Does she think about competing at Worlds?
"Don't know if I can be back in shape until then, but
will try to earn my place in the team. If not, at least I
can be there to support the girls., says Grigoras, which has
resigned from her RGF position yesterday.
"It's a big surprise for us but I'm not
afraid of her taking my place in the team"says Catalina
about this spectacular comeback.
Maybe Nadia think about return, too? we asked
Grigoras."No, she will be too busy now, being pregnant
is already difficult and I hope one of her girls will come
to learn gymnastics in Romania- we have the best gymnastics
school in the World and Nadia knows that!"
