[Jan 08] Oana Ban at sky, exclusive
interview and photos

Hello, Oana , how are you?
Oana Ban:
Very well, thanks. Just returned home from sky.
r-g.com: Did you went every day? How come you like going to
sky?
Oana Ban:
They teach us at University (sport University). I go almost
every day, when the weather is good.
r-g.com: Where do you go for sky?
Oana Ban:
At Baisoara, a small mountain resort 40 miles (60km) nearby
Cluj.
r-g.com: The weather and roads were pretty bad these days,
how you manage to drive?
Oana Ban
: I already have a small experience on driving, made like
9,000 miles (11000km) and haven't any problem. Beside, when
the road is covered with ice, I don't go.
 r-g.com:
I hope you use tire chains, they help you a lot.
Oana Ban:
Yes, I do.
[r-g.com: not all the time, the pictures didn't show those
chains, just saw this when editing images]
r-g.com: By the way, congratulation for "joining the
club" of those being trashed by tabloids; until they
print a crap story about you, (I mean, without your knowledge
or consent and inventing things), you almost can't say (these
days) that you are a real star....
Oana Ban:...(like
a short laugh). Hmm....
r-g.com: Back to "serious things": Where did you
spend the New Year night?
Oana Ban:
Marisel, another small mountain resort in Cluj county; I was
there with my sister and some colleagues. We had a lot of
fun.
r-g.com:Which was the most interesting thing you have done?
 Oana
Ban: well...it wasn't much snow, but we use to tie ourselves
from the back of the cars and they drive slowly; almost like
skyjet, ha-ha!
r-g.com: Oh, My God, it looks so dangerous...
Oana Ban:
no, it wasn't a public road and we used to drive very slowly;
we were supervised by a lot of people ready to help, if necessary.
r-g.com: Still...What else have you done this holiday?
 Oana
Ban: I like playing Ping-Pong (table tennis)...
r-g.com:Are you going to China, also?...
Oana Ban:
No...(laughing); they teach us at University, also and I liked
to play. In fact, I'm going there right now with some colleagues...
r-g.com: Well, enjoy the game and we wait for photos (the
interview was made Friday evening); your fans will love to
see the photos, I'm sure. Maybe we can have a new "extreme
sport" : *Oana Ban auto-sky-jet* whatever. Have fun!
